That day at the park

The Happy hour skateboards 5 tricks:

Skateboarding is a strange beast, the worst one.

The beast that keeps you humble most of the time, or the beast that, in a single day, gives you the hype for months to come.

Picture this:

This is another day at your local park, that one that’s not perfect but somehow is the local hangout to warm up and go street skating a little after… and, as usual, you spend all day there.

It’s your park, you know it. It’s the place where you “practice” your tricks, where you found your skate homies, even if you don’t check in on the classic group chat.

You’ve skated there a lot of times. Sometimes you just chill and play some games of SKATE, sometimes you get serious and try something, but usually it’s a chill place where you’re not that hyped to skate. It’s gonna be there forever, just like all the classic spots that you skate twice a week. You know your routine.

Somehow, one day you’ll just start throwing some tricks over an obstacle, and somehow they just work perfectly. You land everything, even some unexpected tricks, in just a few tries.

Now you’re happy as hell. Time to crack open a beer to celebrate the good skate day.

Today you feel the best ever, thinking skateboarding is so cool, and that the park isn’t trashy or boring.

That place is THE place.

Like our friend Tomi Rehula, that was the perfect day for him, ’cause all the tricks ARE SWITCH!!!!

Maybe tomorrow you’ll be excited to skate again at that local park, thinking you’ve found the formula to conquer that obstacle. You dress kinda the same, same board, same shoes, but after an endless game of skate, that obstacle is not working with you today.

Somehow, the same tricks that were easy yesterday are hard to land today… What’s wrong with me?

What’s wrong with this park?

What’s wrong with this board?

Nothing.

It’s just another day at the office.

The beast keeps you humble (and entertained).

Thank you, Tomi. Hope to skate with you soon.

Obv check the company, is really sick!
